Since its creation, the IOHE has become a reference in the academic community of the Americas as a true academic network, offering quality services to its members. Its efforts today focus on implementing internationalization strategies through the management of a wide variety of international events, missions and professional development programs to provide new opportunities for its member institutions.
Vision and Mission
The IOHE aims to be a reference as an inter-American leader and a strategic ally of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), with the aim of consolidating their role as a driving force for social change and to overcome social inequalities, while promoting knowledge and learning society.
Moreover it wants to contribute to the transformation of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in order to respond to their social and political contexts, while building and creating common spaces of Inter-American collaboration.
