The Autonomous University of Chiapas is an autonomous public institution of higher education, socially responsible and service oriented; integrally forming a competent, critical, ethical, civic and environmental awareness with professionals. UNACH generates, disseminates and applies the scientific, technological and humanistic knowledge; spreads culture and art, promotes sport and extends its services, linked with society at local, national and international environments; qualified personnel and quality and relevant educational programs, to contribute to sustainable development, social welfare, culture of peace, democracy, equality and human rights.
