Chulalongkorn University

Chulalongkorn University has adopted a green university policy as part of its development plans for its 100th anniversary. The green policy has helped to transform Chulalongkorn University into a learning commuity as it works towards becoming a "Sustainable University". The development plans are long-term and consist of projects to promote a green environment, energy saving and awareness as well as participation of each member of the university community to achieve a sustainable improvement in quality of life. The projects aims are to improve the exterior environment around campus as well as focus on introducing courses, research and energy saving plans. 

In November 2016 Chulalongkorn University, together with Siam University, the Suranaree University of Technology, and the Asian Institute of Technology, will host the 15th IAU General Conference with the theme Higher Education: A catalyst for innovative and sustainable societies.
