The Juraj Dobrila University of Pula (UNIPU) was founded in 2006. Its roots trace back to 1960, when two Istrian professors created separate higher education institutions. These two are now part of eleven faculties/ departments of the university.
Sustainability at UNIPU
In 2021, UNIPU was ranked 569 in the international ranking of sustainable universities (UI GreenMetric). They ranked as the first Croatian university.
