Sustainability at MMU
MMU is a top 3 sustainable university in the People and Planet University League and is currently named in the global top 70 of the Times Higher Education’s Impact Rankings.
The University is proud of its performance, achievement and awards, yet we know that there is much more to do to play our part in tackling the environmental and societal challenges facing our world. For MMU, being a leader of sustainability in higher education demands effective leadership, robust governance and a range of policies and strategies which are both challenging and achievable.
