Turkmen Agricultural University Named After S.A. Nyýazow is the largest higher education institution in Turkmenistan and is a university training specialists for the agricultural sector and textile industry of the country. Since its foundation (1930), the University has trained tens of thousands of highly trained agronomists, veterinarians and zootechnicians, hydromelioration and agricultural mechanization engineers, economists, accountants, processing technologists, textile specialists and engineers.

Sustainability & Sustainable Development

In March 2021, the university hosted the Students Olympiad on Sustainable Development Goals. The event was directed at the enhancement of the capacity of the students, future experts in the region.
