UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development 2027

The UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development, titled “Learning in action. Shaping our future,” will take place from 13–15 January 2027 in Nairobi, Kenya. Hosted by UNESCO and the Government of Kenya, the conference marks the halfway point of the ESD for 2030 framework and aims to renew global momentum for education for sustainable development. It will bring together ministers, youth leaders, educators, researchers, civil society, academia and international partners to discuss greening education, digital transformation, youth leadership, teacher empowerment and stronger global partnerships for sustainable societies.
