EngageSDG Project

EngageSDG is a project funded by the European Commission in terms of the Erasmus+ Programme, managed by SARUA and OBREAL Global. The project began on 1 December 2023 and will be completed on 30 November 2026. Its main objective is to build the capacity of South African Development Community (SADC) universities in Participatory Approaches for knowledge production in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The six project partners in the SADC include: the University of Mauritius, the University of Technology Mauritius, the University of the Western Cape, Northwest University, the University of Zambia, and the University of Lusaka. 

The four partners in Europe include the University of Barcelona, the University College Cork, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and the University of Bologna.
