University of Valencia Develops Platform that Simplifies Sustainability Reporting for SMEs

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia has developed a digital platform, ‘Report for Good’, that facilitates structured management of sustainability in organizations, specifically targeted towards small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). 

Accessible online and free of charge, the tool provides comparable information and standards on economic, societal, and environmental dimensions of sustainability performance that facilitate an effective construction of sustainability reports. With these features, the Report for Good addresses a major barrier of SMEs: making sustainability reporting operable and structured without the need for higher costs, technical expertise, and external consultancy. 

Designed with a dynamic design, the platform is continuously updated to reflect evolving sustainability regulations, reporting standards, and best practices, ensuring SMEs can produce reports that remain relevant, compliant, and aligned with current sustainability and business expectations. Report for Good is based on regulations and reference frameworks posed by the Valencian Regional Government, uniting the tool with the sustainability ecosystem of Valencia, and contributes to increased business competitiveness. This initiative helps increase sustainability practices and awareness within Valencian organisations.
