The Water Institute

The Water Institute was created on January 9,1990 by resolution of the Rectorate of the University of Granada to carry out "scientific and technical research, as well as specialized teaching, in all those subjects related to water, considered as a resource, as a geodynamic agent or as a support for the biosphere, and technical advice in such matters". Since its creation, it has undertaken this ambitious mission in a multidisciplinary manner, mainly by deepening its knowledge of the functioning of aquatic systems and developing tools and products for the sustainable management of water resources.
