Council for Higher Education Accreditation International Quality Group (CIQG) Annual Conference 2024

The Council for Higher Education Accreditation International Quality Group (CIQG), the international affiliate of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), is an assembly/body of higher education experts from across the globe, committed to the promotion of quality higher education internationally.  CIQG members include quality assurance agencies of post-secondary institutions that are recognized by their government (or any other official authority), higher education associations, government agencies, higher education consultants, and individuals who are vested in and committed to quality assurance in higher education.  CIQG members are poised to collaborate for the purpose of addressing matters which may enhance, or compromise, quality assurance in higher education, worldwide.

Last year was the 10th anniversary of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation International Quality Group (CIQG). In fact, that conference boasted the largest number of attendees from nations outside of the United States. Because of the historic number of international participants last year, we were able to reach a global audience with discussions focused on important quality assurance issues and timely topics to make a difference in higher education around the world.

The theme for this year’s four-day conference is “Quality Assurance Matters,” a premise that seeks to engage the entire CHEA/CIQG community. The conference will feature diverse and unique voices to manifest commitment to this proclamation through plenaries, concurrent sessions, and other types of discourse.
