The First Ever Responsible Futures Student Sustainability Symposium
Responsible Futures program invite students from your institutions to participate in the first ever Responsible Futures Student Sustainability Symposium, co-hosted by host partnership University of the West of England the Students’ Union. The symposium will take place online via Zoom on April 8-10, 2025 for around 3 hours per day. This event provides a platform for students to engage in peer learning, networking, and showcasing best practices in sustainability education. Staff are also invited to join, but there will be a focus on student experience and skills development.
Event Highlights:
📌 Day 1: Networking & Professional Growth – Interactive sessions and keynote on student leadership in sustainability.
📌 Day 2: Student-Led Discussions and Presentations – A chance for students to share sustainability initiatives and experiences.
📌 Day 3: Green Careers and Next Steps – Insights into career pathways and practical sustainability actions.
Student case studies presentation
We are inviting students to submit a case study on topics related to Responsible Futures. All case studies will be collated into a student leadership resource, and a number of case studies will be selected, and students will be asked to present on 9th April 14:45 to 16:30 GMT. This event will be open to the public. There will be a £100 voucher awarded to the best presentation.
