ANGEL Conference 2026: Call for Submissions
On the 10th and 11th September 2026, the Academic Network for Global Education & Learning (ANGEL), together with The University of Bologna, and the cooperation of Global Education Network Europe and UCL Institute of Education, will be hosting the sixth international ANGEL conference.
The ANGEL Conference 2026 invites academics, practitioners, and policymakers to engage with pressing questions about power, purpose, and transformative practice in global education. The event highlights urgent issues such as inequality, conflict, environmental crises, decolonial perspectives, and the role of technology, underpinned by the Dublin Declaration framework.
The organisers currently welcome submissions for paper presentations, symposia, workshops, and special sessions that critically explore these themes, especially those bridging research, policy, and practice. Contributions should demonstrate rigorous engagement with global education and learning, with completed research prioritized. Accepted presenters will engage in meaningful dialogue and contribute to shaping critical inquiry for just, peaceful, and sustainable global futures.
Deadline for submissions: 13 April 2026.
