BRIDGES conference - Bridging needs in teacher education and schools through interdisciplinary work

The  research project BRIDGES began in August 2020 and concludes in July 2024. At this final digital conference, we will review lessons learned during the course of this research and discuss the ways forward.

This online conference will be held on Wednesday, 12th June 2024 between 13:00-16:00 CEST (GMT+2).

The BRIDGES research project has been led by staff working in teacher education at three Norwegian institutes: University of South-Eastern Norway, University of Tromsø – the Arctic University of Norway, and Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. Over the last four years, the project has aimed to address the following questions:

• How does teacher education develop, strengthen, and systematize interdisciplinary didactics?
• How does teacher education develop, strengthen and systematize didactical models of collaboration and partnership between teacher education and partner schools?
• What characterize effective measures of interdisciplinary work and the teacher education-school partnership?
