Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health
The virtual Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet in Sweden and Makerere University in Uganda.
The aim of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health is to develop capacity and mobilise actions to drive the agenda for sustainable health. From idea to implementation, the Centre is permeated by the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The centre also aims to realize sustainable gains in health and well-being and transform how research and policies are formulated and conducted.
The initiative for developing the centre is based on Makerere University’s Strategic Plan 2020-2030 and Karolinska Institutet’s Strategy 2030.
