Conference on “Invest in women - Accelerate progress"

To celebrate the International Women’s Day, Macao Water held a talk with the parent company SUEZ’s SWAN Committee (Macao) on 7th March 2024. Dr. Teresa Loong, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs of University of Saint Joseph, was invited to deliver a talk on “Invest in Women – Accelerate Progress”, which attracted more than 40 staff members and management of Macao Water to participate.

During the talk, Dr. Teresa shared her own experience on a key element of self-investment and summarized her experience and insight on lifelong learning, to explore how to step out of one’s comfort zone. At the same time, she pointed out that the key to success in learning lies in acquiring new knowledge from different perspectives.
