Constructor University strengthens partnerships in Tanzania

In January 2024, a group of researchers and project managers from Constructor University visited Tanzania to increase cooperation with local partners, in particular the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). During the visit, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

This is a follow-up to the YouthTeamUp project, of which Constructor University coordinates. It is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Program and aims to strengthen knowledge and improve local living conditions through practical Global Impact Projects (GIPs). GIPs are collaborative projects selected for their impact and being aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Participant institutions are spread across Tanzania, Zambia, Italy, and Germany.

The project is developed by Dr. Omid Fatahi Valilai of Constructor, and aims to provide a virtual exchange platform for youth from both Africa and Europe to tackle societal challenges and increase students' employability through skills and entrepreneurial training.
