EUNICoast is a European University Alliance bringing together universities from islands, ports, and coastal territories which has identified community engagement as a central pillar of its mission. The alliance aims to strengthen the role of universities as active partners in addressing regional and societal challenges through collaboration with citizens, organisations, policymakers, and local stakeholders.

By developing a shared framework based on territorial connection, reciprocity, and transformation, EUNICoast supports universities in embedding community engagement into their education, research, and institutional strategies.
