Global Crossings Project
The Global Crossings Project is a research project designed to promote the intersection between the European Union and Brazil. There are three principal themes to be studied: global citizenship; climate change and ecocide; and transhumanity, in the context of Agenda 2030 and the UN SDGs.
The project is co-funded by the European Commission and led by the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Brazil. It began in December 2022 and will end in November 2025.
Amongst activities of the larger project was a roundtable organized by UFU to discuss climate change with primary grade students from the Eseba/ UFU Elementary School. At the end of the conversation, these students were given a Climate Change Booklet as well.
