The Green and Plastic Free Campus Policy
ITM University has launched a comprehensive Green and Plastic-Free Campus Initiative led by the Vice Chancellor to strengthen the university’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The Green Campus policy focuses on expanding green spaces, planting trees, promoting biodiversity, improving energy efficiency through solar installations, and implementing water conservation measures such as rainwater harvesting and efficient irrigation. The Plastic-Free policy aims to eliminate single-use plastics by introducing eco-friendly alternatives, installing refill stations, and conducting awareness programs to promote responsible consumption. Together, these initiatives seek to reduce the university’s environmental footprint while fostering a culture of sustainability, stewardship, and community engagement across campus.
