National Symposium on World Environmental Health Day

The Research Institute for Health Sciences and Environment, together with the Iranian Association of Environmental Health and the School of Public Health and Safety at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, hosted a national symposium to mark World Environmental Health Day on 1 October 2024 in Tehran. Focused on building resilient communities through disaster risk reduction and climate change mitigation and adaptation, the event featured six expert presentations addressing environmental health, climate change, public health, and governance. Bringing together more than 250 students, academics, professionals, and officials, the symposium fostered dialogue on the connections between environmental sustainability, human health, and effective responses to climate-related challenges.

• Social Health and Climate Change
• Crisis Conditions in Iran and the Impact of Climate Change
• Overview of Climate Change and Contributions of Environmental Health
• The Role of Management in Environmental Health
• Significant Impacts of Climate Change on Public Health
