Politics4Future Research Project by the UNITWIN Network UNiESD&ST

York University´s UNESCO Chair through their new UNITWIN Network on Education for Sustainable Development and Societal Transformations (UNiESD&ST) and with the founding UNiESD&ST partners Earth Charter Center for Education for Sustainable Development at the University of Peace (Costa Rica), Heidelberg University of Education (Germany), Leuphana University Lueneburg (Germany), Rhodes University (South Africa), and the University of Crete (Greece) recently launched a new research project for preservice teachers on political learning for sustainable development bringing ESD together with Global Citizenship Education (GCED). Politics4Future is supported by Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt and engages with the Youth Council of the German Commission for UNESCO as an advisory group.
