Safeguarding Society: Awareness Lecture on Critical Social Challenges at AHU

On 24 April 2025, Al-Hadba University (AHU) in collaboration with the Nineveh Police Command, hosted a comprehensive awareness lecture addressing pressing social issues such as smoking, drug abuse, terrorism, violent extremism, and electronic blackmail.

With active participation from students and faculty, the event emphasized the health and social risks of harmful behaviors, promoted digital safety, and encouraged constructive dialogue between Iraqi youth, educators, and security officials.

By raising awareness and fostering prevention strategies, the initiative directly supported SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, contributing to healthier lifestyles, safer communities, and stronger cooperation between educational institutions and security agencies.
