'Take Back the Future' - Student Congress

When: November 10–14, 2025 - online

The Urban Futures Lab at the University of Calgary is hosting a global online student "UnCongress" titled 'Take Back the Future' for students this November.

The organisers are calling all students and big thinkers to sign up and work with a team of future-minded colleagues to challenge assumptions, reimagine urban life, and explore ways to co-create sustainable futures and take back YOUR future. 

This international, virtual congress will be exploring bold and regenerative futures for our cities, communities, and planet. Students from around the world will collaborate in creative teams to imagine far-future scenarios and co-create innovative visions for Sustainable Urban Futures
