United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH)
In a world where one in three people live without access to safe drinking water, the UNU-INWEH aims to help bridge the gap between research and policy in the quest to make a difference in the lives of billions. UNU-INWEH is one of 13 UN universities, think tanks aimed at resolving pressing global concerns - in this case, water security. The institute, which is hosted by McMaster and operated through funding agreements with the Government of Canada, is marking its 25th anniversary.
