Waste Management Project in Batroun District

As part of the USAID-funded Community Support Program, and in collaboration with the Chair of 'Fondation Diane' at Saint-Joseph University Beirut, a project in March 2024 was launched on waste management in the Batroun District of Lebanon. 

The project concerns twelve locations: the town of Batroun itself and the other eleven villages in the district. The project will involve awareness campaigns according to local village needs, tailored to six sectors in Batroun; training volunteers in waste sorting techniques and skills for campaign design; and bin distribution.
