Universities Finland, or Unifi for short, is a co-operational organisation for Finnish universities.
The task of UNIFI is to promote cooperation between universities and to highlight their shared statements on key issues related to research and education policy. We also strengthen the role of universities as an important party in discussions in our society. Our members are all 13 universities referred to in the Act and the National Defence University. We are continuing the work of our predecessor, the Council of Rectors of Finnish Universities established in 1969. Our core values are education, creativity and purpose.
