Al-Hadba University (AHU) is a private Iraqi university established in 1994 as Al Hadbaa University College, in Mosul, Iraq. It is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). Founded on the principles innovation, excellence, and inclusivity, AHU strives to empower individuals, transform communities, and contribute to the sustainable development of Iraq and beyond.
Sustainability at Al-Hadba University
Al-Hadba University integrates sustainability into its teaching, research, and campus development, with a clear commitment to the SDGs. Recent initiatives include tree-planting campaigns, a long-term campus master plan for a greener and more eco-friendly campus, and research in areas such as renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and climate change adaptation.
