Founded in 1944, Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University (QYZPU) is a women-only higher education institution located in the former capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty.

They also dispose of an eco-campus strategy which aims to increase ecology in academic curricula, develop initiatives and associations, improve waste management, transform themselves into a green university, increase local cooperation efforts, and more. As a women-only pedagogical institution, the university has outlined a Development Program for 2023-2029 which contains tasks for expanding their capacities in various aspects of education.
