Established as a Deemed-to-be-University on 17 July 2007, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) is a multidisciplinary institution in Bhubaneswar committed to producing responsible, enlightened and productive citizens through quality teaching and innovative research. With nearly 15,000 students and over 1,300 faculty and staff, the university offers wide-ranging programmes across Engineering & Technology, Medical & Dental Sciences, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Management, Law, Agriculture and Hospitality. Its main research strengths cover nanoscience & nanotechnology, renewable energy systems, biomaterials & tissue regeneration and advanced materials.
