University of Strasbourg

Founded as a university in 1621 and re-established in its present form in 2009, the University of Strasbourg is a leading European public university committed to excellence in education, research and innovation. With around 56,000 students and more than 6,000 staff, it offers programmes across arts and humanities, languages, law, economics, management, social sciences, science, engineering, medicine and health. Its research strengths include chemistry, quantum science, materials, biology and health, and interdisciplinary research. The university spans 10 campuses with 23 libraries and maintains more than 750 international partnerships, including strong European alliances and global academic collaborations.
