The Academy of African Business and Development (AABD) is inviting paper submissions for its 26th Annual Conference, to be held from May 19–23, 2026 at the University of Manouba in Tunis, Tunisia. Under the theme “At the Crossroads of Local and Global Disruptions: Transforming Organisations for Africa’s Future,” the conference seeks research exploring how African businesses, governments, and institutions are responding to diverse disruptions such as climate change, technological innovation, geopolitical instability, and digital transformation.
Scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students are encouraged to submit theoretical, empirical, or practice-oriented papers that address sustainable development, innovation, governance, and competitiveness in Africa. Both full papers and extended abstracts are welcome, and doctoral students are invited to participate in dedicated development sessions. The submission deadline is December 19, 2025, and further details will be available on the AABD website. The conference will also feature keynote speakers, panel sessions, and networking opportunities.
