Competence Center for Sustainability

Sustainable development is one of the greatest challenges faced by today’s society. WU accepts this challenge. This is why there is a Competence Center for Sustainability at WU.

WU is committed to the principle of sustainability and is determined to bring it to life. WU applies the principles of sustainability to teaching, research, knowledge transfer and university management so that as a university it can fulfill its responsibility to society. 

The new WU campus is a symbol of a cultural shift – our commitment to sustainability will be a deciding factor in the success of this development.
