ECOSOC Event: Skills for Sustainable Industrial Transformation
The 2026 UN ECOSOC Partnership Forum will take place on the 27th January 2026 in both virtual and in-person formats at UN Headquarters in New York. The Forum’s theme focuses on promoting transformative, equitable, innovative, and coordinated actions to advance the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will showcase partnerships and initiatives from governments and stakeholders aimed at addressing global challenges and accelerating sustainable development.
As part of the event, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), together with University College Dublin, UNITAR, and the UAE National Committee on SDGs, will host an official virtual side event titled “Skills for Sustainable Industrial Transformation”. This session will highlight lessons from multi-stakeholder partnerships that support SDGs 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
