Environmental Institute

The Environment Institute was created in 2003 to serve the requirements of the community, its companies and the production of professional, technical and environmental input.
In addition, the Institute is linked to the National Ombudsman and participates as an active member of the Forum of Universities of the Matanza Riachuelo Basin, being the driving force behind it.

Among its objectives are: to investigate, develop, implement and execute studies and projects related to the environment; to carry out consultancies on environmental impact studies, environmental audits, environmental planning and studies related to the environment; to promote environmental education at all levels; to promote the recovery and regeneration of green areas, woodland promotion and afforestation, and to coordinate the programs developed at the University.
