ITD Conference 2024: Educational Pathways for Sustainable Research Collaborations

The purpose of the Global Alliance for Inter- and Transdisciplinarity (ITD Alliance) is to strengthen and to promote the global capacity and the calibre of collaborative modes of boundary-crossing research and practice.

The ITD 2024 conference offers leading trainers, researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world the opportunity to share their knowledge, insights, and expertise on the critical issues in inter- and transdisciplinarity needed to build capacity in and through research, education, policy making, activism, and artistic engagement.

The conference welcomes contributions from all fields and cultures of research. Share your insights and experiences, whether you’re involved in inter- or transdisciplinary projects, higher education, or research funding. The deadline for submitting contributions is February 9, 2024. 

The Inter- and Transdisciplinarity Beyond Buzzwords: Educational Pathways for Sustainable Research Collaborations explores three key conference streams:

• Enhancing the theoretical foundations of inter- and transdisciplinarity
• Growing capacity for inter- and transdisciplinarity
• Broadening and deepening education and training in inter- and transdisciplinarity
