Online Workshop Fênix-Emborcação

Universidad Federal do Ouro Preto (UFOP) from Brasil, which is IAU HESD Cluster satellite for SDG2, organized an online workshop on June 24, 2020. The workshop's themes revolved around the possibilities of ecological services in favor of environmental restoration, addressing new strategies to accelerate ecological succession in degraded areas around the Emborcação hydroelectric power plant (UHE) in Catalan (GO). 

Coordinated by Yasmine Antonini, professor at the Department of Biodiversity, Evolution and Environment (Debio), the event brought together researchers from UFOP, the University of Lavras (Ufla), the University of Uberlândia (UFU), and the University of Brasilia (UNB).
