One Ocean Week – pioneering a sustainable ocean

One Ocean Week is set to become the annual international meeting point for the ocean we want. During the week of April 13th to 19th, official government, academic institutions and world-leading businesses take part in a whole week dedicated to the ocean and a sustainable future. Through meetings, conferences, seminars and cultural events related to sustainable futures for oceans, the actors debates and set up standards to sustainaiblity to protect oceans and life below water. 

One Ocean Week was first held in 2023 to mark the homecoming of the city’s proud sailing vessel Statsraad Lehmkuhl when the ship came back after almost two years of circumnavigating the globe on its One Ocean Expedition.
