São Paulo State University Collaborates with Nelson Mandela University on Gender-Based Violence Research
Sao Paulo State University developed global partnerships including by bringing together researchers from São Paulo State University's Psychology, History, and Social Sciences departments with a team of researchers from Nelson Mandela University (South Africa). The collaboration, funded by the NRF, South Africa's development agency, and Fapesp, focuses on the study of violence related to gender and ethnicity. In addition to the research itself, it includes a series of face-to-face meetings in South Africa to exchange experiences on how institutions deal with this violence on their campuses on a day-to-day basis.
