The negotiations towards an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution are entering a critical phase. As the International Negotiating Committee (INC) advances discussions ahead of INC-5.4 in March 2027, scientific evidence and expertise are essential to create convergence amongst negotiating parties to support an effective treaty and its implementation.
Join the ISC, the INC, national authorities and scientific experts for the webinar Mobilizing the global scientific community for plastic pollution: A conversation between science and policy across the global ISC Membership and beyond. The webinar will be held on 24 November 2026, from 14:30 - 15:45 UTC.
