Mahidol University is an autonomous public research university in Thailand. The university was founded as part of Siriraj Hospital in 1888. It was first called the University of Medical Science in 1943, and has been recognized as Thailand's fourth public university.
Mahidol University commits to the Sustainable Development Goals through our research and innovation, education and community engagement for sustainable future and strives to be a leader on sustainability. The university has set goals and strived for sustainable development very clearly by implementing policies and operations focusing on sustainable growth of the organization along with sustainable resources usage and social development, through creating awareness and learning in behavioral changes of students and staff, to be good example for the society, bringing happiness to humanity, for true sustainable development.
