Mahidol University is taking a strong stand on environmental responsibility by committing to become a Zero Waste University. Recognizing the urgent need for effective solid waste management, the university is actively driving initiatives that reduce waste generation and promote the reuse and recycling of materials to achieve maximum efficiency.

Guided by the 3Rs principle — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — Mahidol is implementing a range of sustainable practices across campus. These efforts are supported by clearly defined environmental indicators, including Waste Management Indicators, to track progress and ensure accountability in reaching their zero waste goals.
