University of Salamanca

Currently, the University of Salamanca has a stable student body of around 30,000 students. It has nine campuses distributed among Salamanca, Ávila, Zamora, Béjar and Villamayor with 26 faculties and colleges and 12 research centres that cover such varied aspects as biosciences or lasers, including agri-food developments, neurosciences, history studies and basic research, among others.

They are joined by centers dedicated to strengthening academic and cultural ties with other countries and cultures such as the Hispanic Japanese Cultural Center, the Center for Brazilian Studies or the Institute of Studies of Ibero-America, where the continuous movement of teachers and students maintains ties and creates new perspectives for the future in established partnerships.
