Interuniversity Working Group on Education for Sustainable Development
The Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP) establishes an Interuniversity Working Group on Education for Sustainable Development with the goal to foster the institutionalization of ESD at its member institutions.
Under the umbrella of the Commission for Social Responsibility, the ACUP sets up a Working Group on ESD. Comprised of academic cooperation and development cooperation vice presidents as well as staff responsible for the promotion of ESD in the Catalan public universities, this Working Group aims at promoting the institutionalization of the ESD at the universities of the ACUP. Specifically, the group wants to promote a shared vision of ESD in the Catalan university system and help to create structures that facilitate the introduction of ESD into curricula at different levels, create incentives and recognition systems, facilitate the design of a joint educational proposal and establish a system of indicators to measure its impact.
