IAU's longstanding partner Student Organizing for Sustainability invites you to the Student Sustainability Symposium featuring workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities for students and staff. Sessions will also showcase good practice in student engagement and green skill development across the education sector in the UK and beyond. The event has been co-designed with student staff at SOS-UK as well as the University of the West England, Bristol and the Students' Union.

Who is this event for?

The event is primarily aimed at student and staff cohorts of Responsible Futures Partner UK and International institutions. Responsible Futures is an educational programme run by SOS-UK. However, the Symposium will feature student presentations and only these sessions will be open to the public.

 

When is the event?

The Student Sustainability Symposium will take place online via Zoom during the afternoons of 8, 9 and 10 April BST.

Networking & Professional Growth – Interactive sessions and keynote on student leadership in sustainability.
Student-Led Discussions and Presentations – A chance for students to share sustainability initiatives and experiences.
Green Careers and Next Steps – Insights into career pathways and practical sustainability actions.
